“Safe in Water”-day – Sunday, April 26. Welcome!
In collaboration with Trondhjem Swimming and Lifesaving Club, Pirbadet is hosting “Safe in Water Day.”
Regular admission prices apply, and everyone who buys a ticket can take part in station-based activities designed to help you feel safer in the water. Activities take place between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Activities include:
Practicing diving/floating – underwater orientation – “Selungen” (swim 25 m)
Swimming with a buoy – using an extended arm – throwing a rescue line
Safe diving techniques
Swimming proficiency test
Pirbadet’s lifeguard test
CPR and basic first aid
Testing an underwater scooter
All participants must register to join the activities. You will receive a punch card to bring with you between stations. Remember to get a “punch” for each activity you complete. When you’re done with the activities you wish to try, return to the registration desk and spin the prize wheel—you might win something!
Note: You must have at least 3 punches.
The Trondhjem Swimming and Lifesaving Club will provide diplomas for all children who participate in their activities.
