Renovation of our wardrobes starts on Tuesday 02.04. The waterpark is open as normal, but other wardrobes must be used.
We conduct annual guest surveys and are very happy with all the feedback we receive! In 2022, it turned out that many of our guests were dissatisfied with the wellness department. We therefore started renovating it in 2023. We have spent approx. 4.5 mill. and have received a lot of nice response 😊
The guest survey in 2023 showed that many people think our wardrobes are run down and consequently we will completely renovate both our women's and men's wardrobes during 2024 (!).
Important information regarding the renovation of wardrobes:
Start of renovation of women's wardrobe 02.04 - estimated completion is 08.05
In the period 02.04-08.05, all ladies/girls must use the men's wardrobe (next to the women's wardrobe).
In the period 02.04-08.05, all men/boys must use the training wardrobes. Both training wardrobes will be set aside for men/boys during the period! Training wardrobes can be found by turning right when you enter Pirbadet - go through our "beach lounge" - go through the hallway and you're there!
If everything goes as planned, ladies/girls can move back to a newly renovated wardrobe on 09.05
In the period 09.05-18.06 (estimated dates), the men's wardrobe will be renovated
All men/boys must therefore also in the period 09.05-18.06 use the training wardrobes. Both training wardrobes will be set aside for men/boys during the period! Training wardrobes can be found by turning right when you enter Pirabdet - go through our "beach lounge" - go through the hallway and you're there!
What needs to be renovated in the wardrobes?
The wardrobe, shower areas and toilet areas are to be renovated
Acrylic will be laid on the floor and walls, and some walls will be tiled
New wardrobe doors will be installed
New key system for all wardrobe-lockers will be installed. Wristbands will replace tokens/NOK 10
It will be sealed again between the wardrobes and the ceiling
New toilets are to be installed
New doors for all toilets will be installed
New partitions in the shower areas and between toilets
New and more shelves will be installed in the shower areas
Roofs and grates must be painted/spray varnished
New mirrors will be installed
New benches are under production
New changing tables are coming
The alternative to you having to use other wardrobes for a period would be to close the entire facility for 12 weeks. We do not think that is a good alternative, so we hope for your patience and understanding.
