In 2024, we completely renovated both the ladies’ and men’s locker rooms. It turned out great, but unfortunately not the shower areas. Consequently, we are now starting a new renovation.
Important information regarding the renovation of shower areas:
NB! All dates below are estimated.
Start of renovation of showers areas for men: 09.02. Completion: 23.03
All ladies/girls use the ladies’ locker rooms in the period 09.02-23.03
In the period 23.03-04.05, the women’s shower areas will be renovated. During this period, the ladies/girls must move to the men’s locker room, which then has newly been renovated.
All gentlemen/boys must use the training locker rooms in the period 09.02-04.05. Both training locker rooms will be set aside for gentlemen/boys during the period! You can find the training locker rooms by turning right when you enter Pirbadet – go through our “beach lounge” – go through the hallway and you’re there!
NB! Mondays through Fridays until 08:00 a.m. men/boys from Pirbadet must only use the women’s locker room. This is due to cleaning!
NB! Men/boys: you will need a token for the lockers. You will receive this (for free) at our cashier. Please remember to hand it in when you leave Pirbadet
What will be renovated in the shower areas:
This time we have chosen to put tiles on both the floor and walls. New partitions will be installed. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Acrylicon Midt- & Vest-Norge AS for their constructive and good cooperation on a demanding project. It is our (Pirbadet’s) choice to use tiles in the shower zones this time.
Other information:
Some noice and odors must be expected, but the odor is not dangerous and our partners will minimize the noise as much as possible.
The alternative to having you use other changing rooms for a period of time, would be to close the entire facility for 12 weeks. We do not think that is a good alternative, so we hope for your patience and understanding 💙
